The first wave of LEGO Super Mario sets just landed in stores August 1st, and there couldn’t possibly be a better way to promote the line of toys inspired by the iconic Nintendo series than by building a GIANT Super Mario LEGO model! The huge sculpture, which is over 1.2 meters (almost 4 ft) tall, took 6 master builders 110 hours to create. Check it out!

The build is designed as a scaled-up version of the Mario that comes in actual LEGO sets! It even has a digital display that reacts to the push of a button.
